We are currently seeking a Biological Scientist to provide all-source intelligence analysis support to Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) production and briefings. The candidate shall have a broad expertise in the biological sciences with emphasis on new and emerging biological areas.
The successful candidate shall apply this expertise to foreign weapons acquisition strategies, policies, priorities, decisions, and resource allocations with emphasis on modeling and forecasting the 20-year future capabilities, goals, and directions in a nation's weapons acquisition. Must currently possess a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
This position is located at a Government installation in Charlottesville, VA.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Possess a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
BS in Biology with 3-10 years of experience.
Broad expertise in the biological sciences with emphasis on new and emerging biological areas such as, but not limited to: biotechnology, synthetic biology, computational biology, gene manipulation, cognitive neuroscience, human performance modification.
Ability to conduct analyses of system capabilities, limitations and/or vulnerabilities.
Experience populating and maintaining databases for study and analysis.
Willingness to work in small groups or independently as necessary.
Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills.
Other duties as assigned
MS or PhD in Biology with 0-3 years of experience.
Experience with all-source assessments for intelligence agencies.
