The Teacher Aide is responsible for the care, supervision, and safety of center children. Assist staff in planning and implementing age appropriate curriculum. Responsible for keeping classroom and playground clean, safe, and orderly. Must have compassion and understanding for the needs of children and families from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds. Must learn, implement, and follow all program policies and procedures.
Position starts at:
- $11.00 with the minimum qualifications
- $11.25 with 6 credits in ECE
- $11.50 with 12 ECE credits
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Have access to reliable, insured transportation.
Must have or obtain and maintain first-aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within six months of hire.
Provide current physical and negative TB test results before or upon hire.
Be able to work 20 hours/week, 52 weeks/year, from 7:00AM - 5:00PM to cover center operational hours.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
