Responsible for the management of all daily functions, operations, employee performance, future development and success of the Deposit Services and Escrow Management Services Departments. Serve as the second line of defense to assess and effectively manage the risk associated with Deposit Services and Escrow Management Services, ensuring that business objectives and activities are in alignment with the Bank’s risk management framework and appetite. .Ensure that all activities adhere to bank policies and procedures and are in compliance with federal regulatory requirements. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of bank products and services in order to aid in identifying customer’s needs and to provide solutions. Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external client problem resolution. Provide operational support to Finance, Branch Administration, Frontline Sales Team, and other departments as needed.

  • Manage and oversee daily operations. Ensuring that proper procedures are followed and that all functions are completed within allotted timeframes.
  • Direct the development, approval, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assists with researching possible fraud or loss situations.
  • Monitor the timely completion of Levies, Subpoenas and Garnishments.
  • Ensures the completion and accuracy of daily, monthly and quarterly GL reconciliations.
  • Oversees the integration of new systems, processes, procedures within Deposit Operations.
  • Provides operational support to Finance, Branch Administration and Other Departments as needed.
  • Represents the bank in negotiations with clients, potential clients, and client’s attorney, to establish terms, structure and pricing of escrow related services.
  • Provides back-up support to the Deposit Application Analyst, assisting with the maintenance of the XAA System, Bank Control and other Deposit System Applications. .
  • Manage staff and performance; provide guidance, instruction, training and career development.
  • Develop, approve and establish policies and procedures.
  • Problem resolution for internal and external clients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • General working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficient in the bank’s core processing system and sub systems used for daily processing and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of business banking regulations, deposit operations, policies, procedures and escrow account administration.
  • Understanding of Accounting and GL Reconciliation.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who can think strategically, operate independently and take accountability for the function.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and collaborate with others both internally and externally.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and prioritize your focus on most impactful activities.

  • Some travel may be required.

Required Experience

  • College degree preferred or equivalent Banking Operations experience.
  • 10 years of banking experience with a minimum of 5 years concentration in deposit operations preferred.
  • 5 - years of supervisory experience.
  • General working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficient in the bank’s core processing system and sub systems used for daily processing and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of business banking regulations, deposit operations, policies, procedures and escrow account administration.
  • Understanding of Accounting and GL Reconciliation.
