PBM Graphics an rrd company, is a leading commercial printing and packaging company in North America, producing educational products, publications, and sales materials for the healthcare industry and general commercial print for many other industries, as well as collectible trading cards associated with the entertainment and sports industries.

General Duties:

  • Conduct routine inspections of the premises to detect malfunctions and/or needed repairs while taking notes and making recommendations using a pre‐established check sheet
  • Performs minor carpentry maintenance tasks including sheetrock/drywall installation and/or repair, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation; paints interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate
  • Performs minor electrical maintenance to include replacement of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs) using appropriate hand and power tools
  • Performs non-technical plumbing maintenance, to include standard repair of leaking fixtures, cleaning obstructed waste lines, and perform non-technical modifications to plumbing and water supply systems
  • Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks
  • May perform general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks
  • Documents facilities maintenance requirements and maintains appropriate records of work performed
  • Strong organizational, eye for detail, and follow up skills
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Other duties assigned as necessary

Required Skills

 

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understands conversational English 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds 
  • Experience operating a variety of hand and power tools 
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and other repair work
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards
