Corporate Services provides a robust portfolio of global services utilized daily across the Firm to enable productivity, efficiency, safety, optimized business models and an enhanced employee experience in the workplace. We have over 5,000 staff managing a multi-billion dollar scope of services including Real Estate and Location Strategy; Real Estate Portfolio and Transaction Management; Property Management; Corporate Travel; Corporate Security & Investigations; Corporate Information Management; and Regional Client Services; and Office of the COO.
 
Description
The Vendor Manager works closely with the Global Head of Vendor Management to execute projects and reporting related to the strategic goals of the global team. 
The role is a part of the Global Vendor Management team to oversee the management of non-real-time information resources within the BIA managed spend categories, including:
 Publications & Subscriptions
 Databases
 Contracts
 Ad-hoc Purchases
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities include: 
 Support the ongoing development and management of the BIA Inventory systems (FITS)
 Support and deliver the global deployment of password management and usage monitoring software (ResearchMonitor)
 Manage and execute the creation and delivery of financial and informational reports to support CIM and divisional reporting initiatives
 Contribute to the project to create TWiki pages to document BIS entitlement processes
 Support the creation and maintenance of Jive, TWiki and SharePoint pages
 Liaise with the BIS research teams on data/product strategy and selection, vendor related issues and processes, including reporting

 Skills Required
 Experience in similar roles, preferably in the Financial Services industry
 Knowledge of FITS and ResearchMonitor or similar inventory management systems is ideal
 Client focused
 Strong organization and time management skills
 Highly methodical approach with good attention to detail
 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - flexible approach to duties and hours of work
 Good judgment and initiative
 Strong team player with experience of working in a global operating environment
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 Proficiency with MS Office
 Experience with Jive and SharePoint ideal
 Experience with multi-industry databases and Publications & Subscriptions a plus
 Skills Desired
Graduate/Masters in business/finance/economics and/or Library and Information Science. Candidates with relevant work experience are also eligible.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm EST
