We are seeking a Materials Engineer who possesses a strong background of analyzing system capabilities, limitations and/or vulnerabilities; writing comprehensive all-source Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) assessments; and populating and maintaining databases on foreign conventional weapons for U.S. Government clients. Must currently possess a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
This position is located at a Government installation in Charlottesville, VA.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Possess a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
MA/MS in Materials Science with 3-10 years of experience, specifically, either:
- background in ammunition design and performance; understands elements of different munitions systems; or,
- experience in either a) electronic materials, specifically gallium nitride; or b) high temperature ceramics.
Experience conducting analysis of system capabilities, limitations and/or vulnerabilities.
Experience writing comprehensive all-source S&TI intelligence assessments.
Experience populating and maintaining databases on foreign conventional weapons.
Willingness to work in small groups or independently as necessary.
Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills.
Other duties as assigned
PhD in Materials Science with 0-3 years of experience.
Experience reviewing and assessing military ground technologies.
Experience with all-source assessments for intelligence agencies.
