THE TEAM  

Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our Chapters around the country. The People Team is comprised of innovative professionals who elevate our strategic talent programs for the national office, while extending resources and support to our chapters.  

 

THE ROLE  

the Senior Coordinator, People Team will be responsible for the review, development, implementation and maintenance of HR processes, and data. The incumbent will support and develop processes in People Centers of Excellence (COE) in Total Rewards, Learning and Development, HRBP, and Talent Acquisition as required.

This role will assume key responsibilities such as but not limited to: talent acquisition onboarding of candidates, administration of employee recognition, maintenance of employee records, and aspects of benefits administration.

The successful candidate will centralize and streamline HR administration across the HR function. They will have direct employee interfaces and support the delivery of HR services across the organization.

 

WHERE YOU COME IN  

As the Senior Coordinator, People Team you will:                                                             

  • Support the full range of Human Resource functions, including systems analysis, development, maintenance, and administration on projects, and functional administrative support as defined above
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the human resources information system (HRIS) to ensure data integrity and integration with other systems.
  • Create efficiencies across HR systems, platforms, and projects.
  • Provide technical support on HRIS practices and innovations and ensures that all applications comply with legal requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and propose changes to current processes to improve operations of assigned People functions areas.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Participates as an active thought partner across HR functional responsibilities as defined above
  • Performs other related job duties, as assigned.

   

WHAT YOU’LL NEED  

  •  Associate Degree or technical school; or related experience. Bachelor degree preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a Human Resources or People Team environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applicaitons strongly preferred 
  • Position may require travel to organizational conferences and events.
