Per Diem Meals-on-Wheels Driver

Deliver meals to homebound senior citizens on
assigned delivery route, interact with clients and assure client safety. Assist
with packaging of Meals-on-Wheels meals, and cleaning of delivery equipment at
end of delivery route. Assist the Commissary with packaging and assembly of
food products, items, and supplies needed for all TVCCA foodservice programs,
and drive commissary delivery route in assigned area as needed.

High School Diploma or equivalent plus one year
related work experience. Possess current Connecticut Driver’s License and reliable,
insured vehicle for travel. Excellent driving record. Demonstrate ability to
work with senior population and volunteers. Strong communication and basic math
skills required.

This position is Per Diem.
