Teaching Professor – Coaching Education and Athlete Development
Xavier University, a Catholic university in the Jesuit tradition, invites applications for a teaching professor position in the online graduate program in coaching education and athlete development (CEAD) beginning in Fall 2020. The CEAD program is located in the department of Sports Studies, in the College of Professional Sciences. www.xavier.edu/sport-studies
The department of sport studies offers Bachelor of Science degrees in exercise science, sport management and sport marketing, Master of Education degrees in coaching education and athlete development, and sport administration, as well as a Master of Science degree in athletic training.

Qualifications: Earned Master’s degree in Coaching Education, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree, significant coaching experience, experience with online teaching, and experience as a coaching educator.
Responsibilities include: Teaching online graduate courses within the CEAD curriculum.
Position: Nine-month contract with summer teaching opportunities
Salary/Rank: Teaching Professor (non-tenure track)
