Office Assistant- Nutrition Services. 30hrs/week.
High School diploma plus three years of related work experience.
Proficient in use of computers including Windows XP, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Power Point.
Ability to accurately type documents in a timely manner.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills including a working knowledge of correct grammar and spelling.
Proficiency in mathematical functions and record keeping skills.
Have strong organizational skills. Able to multi-task.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
30hrs/week position. Monday to Friday.
Provide administrative support to the Nutrition Services office. Perform data entry tasks for Senior Nutrition Program, CACFP, and central kitchen. Assist with billing tasks, and processing Congregate and Meals-on-Wheels donations. Assist with preparing requisitions for bill payment. Distribute agency notices, USPS mail, and interoffice mail within the department. Coordinate ordering of office supplies, maintain inventory. Assist with operating Meals-on-Wheels and Congregate software program, and agency software program. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
